The italian soprano Sara Pretegiani began studying classical guitar at 8 years old for five years with Maestro Dario Tagliapietra.
She was admitted to the Conservatory of Venice at the age of 16 years old following the classes of M°/Soprano Elisabetta Tandura and Mirna Pecile.
During the conservatorio years she had her debut in “LA CANTERINA” di Haydn and in “CHE ORIGINALI!” by S.Mayr at the “Teatro all’Arsenale” of Venice with Benedetto Marcello Orchestra, under the direction of M° F. Bellotto
In 2003 has a concert in honor of the Nobel price Rita Levi Montalcini, debuts in “PASSION DE MERCREDI’ SAINT” by E.Fiocco, “JESU MEINE FREUDE” by Lubeck at the Cathedral of Mira (Venice) and at the great Basilica della Salute (Venice), SIEBEN FREUE LIEDER di Alban Berg, “VIA CRUCIS” by F.Liszt at the concert hall of Palazzo Pisani (Venice).
After the conservatory has specialized with M° Sherman Lowe, Soprano Luciana Serra, and M° Tenore Giovanni B. Palmieri.
In 2005 she debuts as a title role in “LA BOHEME” and in “TOSCA” (by Giacomo Puccini) singing for 100 performancies under the direction of M° Stefano Romani.
In 2006 she sings many performancies of “MADAMA BUTTERFLY” (Puccini) with the orchestra of the “Teatro Verdi” under M° Christian Maggio in Vicenza (I°) and under M° Sfefano Romani at the “F. Nuove Theatre (Vce).
In 2007 she sings some concerts at the “GRAN TEATRO LA FENICE” under M° Raymond Hughes Maestro del coro del Teatro Metropolitan (New York) and debuts in “LA TRAVIATA” e in “CARMEN” in Venice (Fta.Nuove Theatre).
In 2009 she sang live on “RAI television” (the main italian television) during a famous program conducted by Mr Pippo Baudo in Rome.
From 2009 to 2015 she was in Norway, Russia, Island, Spain, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives, Greece, Singapore, Canada, Caraibi, Messico, Italy with Tenor Giovanni Battista Palmieri in a big concert tour “Italian Opera concert ” in major Concert Hall.
